Products Not Visible or Not Orderable in the Webshop (Shopify)
Notification: products appear as "out of stock" in the webshop
It may happen that products in your webshop are displayed as out of stock, even though you want them to be available for purchase. This is usually related to the inventory settings of your products.
Why does this happen?
In Shopify (or similar systems), product visibility is linked to inventory status. If the stock at a specific location is set to 0, the product will automatically be shown as out of stock—even if the product is actually available.
Steps:
- In the Shopify admin, go to Products > Inventory.
- Select the location whose inventory you want to modify. Products that are not stocked at a location will not appear in that location’s inventory list.
- Select the product variants you want to update.
- Click on Bulk edit.
- In the bulk editor, click Columns and add fields for the locations where you want the products to be in stock.
- Update the inventory quantities for each variant at the relevant locations.
- Click Save.
Tip
Always check the settings per location first. Often, the product is visible in your webshop but not linked to the correct inventory location. You can also increase the stock quantity of your products. Adjusting this usually resolves the issue quickly.
Notification about missing shipping profile
This message usually appears because no shipping profile or shipping rates have been set for the location assigned to the product. As a result, the system cannot display or process shipping options.
What should you check?
In your webshop admin, go to:
Settings → Shipping and delivery → Shipping (General shipping rates)
Check whether the correct locations are set as active.

Solution
You can resolve this in two ways:
Add shipping rates manually
Create new shipping rates for the relevant location.
Copy existing shipping rates
Use the option “Use rates from another location” to copy existing shipping rates (for example, from your own address) to this location.
Once shipping rates are configured, the message should disappear and orders can be processed correctly.
