Integration Tips
Integration Tips
Setup
- Make sure the account you use to activate the integration has Administrator permissions in your store. This ensures that Promio has sufficient rights to manage products and orders.
- Ensure consistent use of URLs (with or without “www”).
- After the integration is created, a REST API connection and two webhooks (Product deleted, Order updated) will be generated under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced.
Please note: Do not modify or delete these settings, as this may break the integration.
- The house number must be entered in the address field. Do not create a separate field for the house number, as it will not be passed through the integration.
- A valid SSL certificate must be present.
- At the hosting level, GET, POST, and PUT requests must be allowed.
Tips
- Use a postcode checker to prevent incorrect shipments, as validation is not performed on Promio’s side.
- Promio is not responsible for verifying whether payments have been completed in your store. Orders marked as paid will automatically be forwarded to Promio.
- It is important to configure shipping costs correctly so they are charged to your customer. After the order is forwarded, Promio will also invoice shipping costs.
- Shopify allows a maximum of 100 variants per product, so make sure not to export more variants per product from Promio.
