# Linking Additional Product Variants


**How do you add new colors or sizes to a linked product afterward?**
Have you already exported a product to your webshop and want to add additional colors or sizes later? It is important to know that new variants are **not automatically synchronized** with your Promio account.
Once a product has been exported, no further synchronization takes place for new variants. This means that additional colors or sizes must be linked manually.


**Adding new variants**
Follow the steps below to correctly add new variants:
1. First, create the new colors and/or sizes in your webshop.
2. Then go to the **“Link products”** page in your Promio account.
3. Select the new variants you want to link.
4. In the right column, choose the corresponding variant on our side.
After linking, the new variants will be available within your product offering.


**Please note**
For manually linked variants, certain designer functionalities are unfortunately not available. For example:
* Automatic generation of mockup files
* Other automated designer features
Please take this into account when adding new variants to existing products.
