# **How is a shirt or hoodie measured?**

The width of a garment is measured from one armpit to the other. 
This is also referred to as the “chest width” and is the standard method used to indicate the width of a shirt, sweater, or other upper-body garment.
The size chart used for this is a general guideline. Although it may seem like a generic table, this method is consistently applied across all products, so you can always compare widths in the same way and estimate which size is suitable.

Please note that a small measurement variation may occur. A difference of up to 2 centimeters from the stated size is considered normal and falls within production tolerances. 
This means a garment may fit slightly larger or smaller, but this is within the expected margin.
