# Design Tips: How to Choose the Right Size

Choosing the right placement for your design on a T-shirt may sound simple, but in practice it can be quite challenging. When working in a digital template, it’s often difficult to truly visualize how large or small a logo will appear on an actual shirt.
That’s why a reference image like this is so valuable — it immediately shows how dimensions translate to a real product.
In the example, you see a **heavy oversized T-shirt in size M**, with a large print area of **35 × 45 cm**. This print area represents the maximum space available for your design.
Whether you choose a bold statement design or a subtle placement, the guidelines in the template indicate the **center of the chest** and the **center of the shirt**, ensuring your design is always properly aligned.


**Chest Logos in Different Sizes**
Not everyone wants a large print. Sometimes a subtle chest logo is exactly what you’re looking for. That’s why the example includes several options:
* **Small logo (5 × 5 cm)** → Ideal for a minimalist brand logo
* **Thin text designs** → Show how fine details appear when placed on the chest
